Opera Consonance Cyber 20, but for a slight background hum (hopefully soon to be resolved). Excellent soundstaging and sense of scale, less "veiled" and "grainy" than my old LD Mk. III (the LD was good for the price, though).

 

Perhaps it really is true that HD600s prefer output transformers to OTLs....

 

Nevertheless, I'm sure a Zana Deux will sound even better still - I have yet to hear this combination, though!

The Zana Deux, no question.

They almost sound like electrostats with one.

Has anyone had experience with an HD600 paired with a TTVJ Slim amp/dac (or even just the amp)? Looking to get those in the very near future.
