Using the RSA Mustang when the Iphone 4 Doc is NOT Available. Is this possible?

Hello

I have just ordered the P-51 Mustang to use with my Grado Headphones. I Have ordered the $125 LOD cable as well. While this is the preferred approach to using his headphone amp, is this the only way the amp can be used with the iphone?

Here is the problem:

I am using the iPhone 4 in conjunction with the Mophie Juse Pack plus inorder to extend battery life. When the iphone 4 is in the Juice Pack Plus case, there is no access to or use of the iphone 4's doc, which on the surface precludes connecting the headphone amp.

While I could remove the iPhone 4 from the Mophie case, when I want to use the Mustang, I would prefer not not.

Are there alternative ways to use the amp with the iPhone 4?

This will not be a problem with either my ipad or ipad 2.

Thanks

Jay

It is best to use the lod to get your source signal however if you don't care about sound quality you can use a 3.5 to 3.5 out of the hp out. I don't recommend this as it will be amping the already amped signal and kinda defeats the purpose of using the p51
