Need help with my setup, Amping a ATH-700mk2

Well from my crudely drawn picture from paint this is what my setup looks like. So far I have My dac running off of a asus xonar DG. It has a built in amp that I can choose between 32ohm to over 64 ohms. I am a complete bass head and I've heard great reviews about the ath 700mk2. I have had the m50s and loved them. I've gotten rid of them and have had many headphones since then. But all of them have been missing the warm/bass feel that the m50s had. I purchased the dt 770's 80 and 250 ohm and both still don't sound as good to as the m50s. When I learned that audio technica made a new stronger version of the m50's I couldnt resist. My only question is what is a good solution to amp the headphones? The soundcard isn't the best DAC in the world and I have a budget of between 100-150. I've heard good things about the e9/e7 combo. I was wondering if anyone had any input on a good solution to a bass heavy monitor headphone.untitled.bmp

Well, neither that DAC or sound card is doing much help. Id suggest getting a great entry level headphone amp and DAC, such as the Lyr and Bitfrost. You dont even have enough power for the Beyers thats why they dont sound as good as you'd like them to. Once you get the proper power, it will kick the living **** out of the M50's.
