I did some research and only find 2 review on this

 

http://www.headfonia.com/portable-basshead-superlux-hd651/ -> says its pretty good and fun

http://www.head-fi.org/products/superlux-hd-651-purple/reviews -> says its **** and first review is boloney.

 

Anyone have any experience with this model? I found them locally for 13$, price is pretty much a steal if they sound as decent as my ksc75's.

Buying them for metal and rock(classic and grunge)

I own a pair just bought them about a week ago and i think they sound decent for grunge. Though i've only listened to nirvana and foo fighters with them so i'm not sure it will be the same for you. I do agree with the head-fi review on these phones though, the bass is not that good my cheaper tdk st 550 has better bass. The isolation is good though. Also be warned, as i have a big head, they were a bit uncomfortable to wear for extended use they were quite tight on my head and my ears got quite sweaty after a while..
