DAC/AMP to use with projector?

I have a bit of a situation.  I want to get the new Kindle Fire.  I can use that to watch youtube movies/videos on my projector as well as take it on the go.  I would like it better than a laptop I think.  Anyways, I still want to watch DVDs to my projector and the kindle fire doesn't have this.  Also, I want to use my Fostex T50rp's with the Kindle Fire and the DVD Player.  Is there like a DAC/AMP I could just attach to my projector that would make the T50rp's sound good on anything I put up for video on the projector?  I could get an external DVD drive if that would work on the Kindle Fire, that would be the best option.  But I have a Fiio E10 right now and I think the only way to get it to work is on my laptop but I want to sell my laptop and just use the Kindle Fire.  Please help!  No keeping my laptop and just getting a fire isn't an option, it's one or the other.  I can sell my E10 though for a DAC/AMP I could use with the projector but which will attach directly to that?

What projector do you have, or are you still looking for one?  Most projectors for the last few years don't even have audio.  The ones that do are usually either mono or low quality tinny speakers, and rarely have sound outputs.  There are exceptions, such as the units that are designed as plug and play theater systems.  But overall, you're better off just sending the projector video and sending the audio directly to an amplifier.

Not sure why you would want to connect an amp to a projector. You're basically proposing this:

DVD player > Projector > DAC/Amp

All the D-A conversion takes place inside the DVD player already, so by the time it hits the projector it should be analogue. Therefore it's impossible to convert D-A by that point.

I also don't think it's likely that the DVD player will have a digital/optical audio output, so you're stuck with amping directly from the DVD player.

RCA > Amp > T50rp

**Edit: Btw where does it say that you can get video out from a Kindle Fire? http://www.amazon.com/Kindle-Fire-Amazon-Tablet/dp/B0051VVOB2

i got the dreamland dg-737 from ebay.  it looks like a cheap japan projector, but the reviews for it are like almost all good so i figured id take a chance.  i just assumed the fire had video output because all the other tablets i looked at had it.  but if it doesn't then i guess this whole question doesn't matter.  i guess i will just keep the laptop since it's everything all in one.
