Full warranty. Confirmed by Eric aka TheDeliveryMan via PM before I ordered mine.

"Hello there- Colorware will fix any cosmetics that they apply to the headphones per their warranty. Sennheiser will cover the headphone warranty as it stands for our headphones: 2 years parts and labor for manufacturers defects. I hope that helps."

For me, this was the "last straw" in my decision.  OK, I'm buying a pair of HD800's with custom Colorware paint.

 

Now if I could only decide on the color scheme I want.  Lots of good suggestions here.

I'm still trying to figure it out. I kind of like the standard colour scheme. Maybe mimic it with Diamond (pearl) and carbon black (metallic)? Hmmm

That was one of my top choices also.  Swap the factory black/silver with the metallic black/silver, and it would look basically the same, but with a much nicer paint job.  Might even make them look like they SHOULD be $1500.

 

They also have a lot of pics of HD800's with paint jobs to show what the paint colors look like.  There is a "sand/red" combo that looks like gold and black to me, reminds me of Iron Man.  I put together some Sand/Black combo's that I really like too.

Can any one say if the disassembly and reassembly cause any problems with the sq?
I wanna get a colorware hd800.....
Plus are they offering the 20xxx serial cans cuz I hear that they sound really good.....
