Well they appear to be fine. Lets see if they sound fine too.

From shopyourworld.com. I paid 8700 Indian Rupees, which is around 144 US Dollar , or around 85.54 British Pound. If I had got it shipped from audio affair (which they were ready to), it would have priced me atleast 45% higher!! Pictures definitely but a bit later.

Ok,Not necessarily......

But see if they offer the warranty,if so chk the duration/period of warranty and how to claim, (the procedure, whether to send it to them or mfr directly?) If they are local in your place buy it locally. If bought already chk the pictures over the internet with yours.....like the integrity of silicon tips,IEM themselves, cables etc. Hope this helps for now......

Ok....the seller seems to be ok to me. But make sure on the warranty part, thats the worst part when we run into trouble during that period.

Anyone knows where we can buy the spare eartips of EPH-100?

I have EPH-100, and I want to use the eartips for my DUNU DN-2000 since they match quite well and sounds wonderful.

Thanks!

The serial # on the 3.5mm jack matches the cardboard serial # embossed? Not the barcode/sku#.....

Edit=>>> Err....sorry nevermind....I wanted to know for eph100 but the serial # on the jack is dn2k's......

Just preserve your current eph100's stock tips(bi-flanges) as you dont get anywhere on this planet.....unless you get them again from new pairs ($83 now on amazon.com :-( )or used tips from soneone who really willing to sell.

But alternatively you can order the foamies from the below seller(Dan-ebay link) yhay almost replaced the stocks (some confirmed with results).....but not sure how it sings w/dn2k tho.....but can be tried as they are so cheap.

http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=160837891193

he can also send you one preferred size than S,M,L upon request, incase if needed be.

Noted Tx!
I have some foam tips, including some complys. Even DN2K comes with foam tips. But the DN2K sounds better with the EPH tips.

IMO, Yamaha tips is the best. I know it's uncomfortable at first. But try it out for a few days. You might actually get used to it :D. I went to foam tip, not even 3 days i switch back to stock. So ya.. haha.

It has been very comfortable to me since day 1.
EPH eartips matches really well with DN-2000, but not with DN-1000.

I prefer the RSA (Ray Samuels) Shadow amp.  Better sound to me, and 72 hours of playing time on a charge.  Super small.  Exceptionally well built.

Well Mr. Samuels is a genius. I use the SR-71A blackbird amp. My yams just take on new life!

They are not offering any warranty! I may have to contact Yamaha directly as eph100 is not sold locally here in India.
As of now, they appear to be fine from the look and feel, so I am keeping them with me. Thanks for the tips.

Ok....as long as you baby them good and no abuse, its fine. Be careful on the strain relief then the 90deg angled jack, other than that the shells are built like a tank. Enjoy your eph100! Preserve your tips its very hard to get around.

On a side note, just contact yamaha and verify with your serial # about authenticity to avoid surprises in future.......,peace of mind!

I have learned quite a lot about taking care of them and in general about eph100, courtesy this thread.

Yes I will contact yamaha.

I'm about to pull the trigger on these from Amazon.

Just wondering if anyone experienced QC issues lately when purchased from Amazon (mushy tips, etc)?
