I  think the "weird" treble is what you can see on the graph ( a hole) :

I don't even know how to describe it to be honest with you. It's like a really high frequency... don't know much about frequency numbers, but that's all I can say.

A higher frequency is missing on these headphones for my taste, and I could feel it the moment I put the headphones on, and started playing "Alchemy" by Above and Beyond (the Group Therapy album version).

 

The graph looks accurate though. Someone else had mentioned how it would be good to boost the 4k frequency... and you can se< here how recessed it is...... the ATH-M50 have this frequency a little more pronounced on its graph. So that's probably what it is

I know what he means. On my EPH-40s the highs have a weird sound to them and I can't explain it. I kind of like it though, it's very unique.

Hmm never really noticed it to be honest.

It really doesn't sound off to me at all.
