Sound great out the c3 (which is the combo I am using right now, definitely wouldn't need to connect it to the e17 to the c3 for these iems as they are more than powerful enough.  However using he e17 out the laptop will definitely improve sq compared to hp out.

Nope, not to my knowledge, there's nothing like that in this thread anyway.

Where would you start to open them? I'm guessing removing the grill and ??? They're pretty solid.

leave britney alone!

I'd bet on removing the grill first! That place you're pointing in the picture seems to be solid in mine... I mean, their aluminium body seems to be just one piece!

Hi guise,

I really like these IEMs accept for one thing. I don't like that the cable is made of a rubber that have a surface that easily tags or get stuck to clothing. Is there any way of getting rid of this?

Cheers N

you could either try the embroidery floss method or theres another method i sometimes use by either heatshrinking a cable or hollow out some paracord and thread it over.

It's probably glued around that section. I'd be tapping very lightly with a jewellers hammer or metal object like the back of a knife around and around until you break the seal.

I really can't see things going to well though. rolleyes.gif

Goodluck.

Well someone will generously break his eph-100 to show us the internals.

Thank you, "Bad and Quiet".
