Yamaha EPH-100 - Page 159

@those who are having humidity build up on your IEMs:

Blowing cool air (at ambient temperature) on the housings after you are done using them, could solve the problem.

It doesn't matter which ebay you're on. Copy and paste the description into ebay UK and they will come up.

Are these confirmed to fit just like the originals then?

No, they're only an alternative, they do not have the lib that grabs the aluminium housing therefore can slide further on.

Anyone have pictures of them on? I want to see how much they stick out

They don't stick out much as they insert very deeply.

jvc fx101 and 1x1 etc tips fit just fine but also dont have the grab part that the originals do.

Thats good news! I was just afraid of it being like the TF10's. I saw a picture of them on and they just look ridiculous how much they stick out haha. (No offense to people who wear them!)

lol, no. They're nothing like TF10. EPH-100 are quite small in real life. The deep insertion hide them well.

Well, I stand corrected about amping EPH-100. Since changing my source from a Clip+ to Cowon D2+ with E11, I'm getting fantastic results atm. I was sure it was the E11 they refused to respond well with it appears that's not the case. There's something about this current rig I'm using which allows huge amounts of undistorted volume. It's pretty insane using any IEM I have. I'm guessing because the signals clean. I have to turn the EQ off otherwise EPH-100 fart out basshead levels.

It looks like David (EPH-100) and Goliath (TF10)... biggrin.gif

They look like something created in the year 1995 (TF10) EPH-100 > 2012. cool.gif

As promised to Inks... since I acquire his phone... (so this is a fully burned unit)

I declare myself a fan of EPH-100.

Soooo... balanced... so right in all spectrum.... so right on voices (not forward nor laid back), sufficiently smooth, sufficient detail, raw quality for rock is still there.... It is quite unique that whether I use cold, neutral or warm player, this phone still perform... This must be a quite transparent phone...

No excessive bass... this is not a bass head phone... the bass does not bleed to the voice (unlike CKM500)... For you Asians: this phone pass the evil resonance voice of Cai Qin (Golden Voice album)...

No deficiency on treble... sufficiently there...

If I could conclude in one sentence: EPH-100 is a fun phone done right...

PS. this is the first time that I have earphone/headphone that I'm really considering to buy another unit for backup/spare...
