Do you save entire albums or tracks in your iTunes library?

Thread Starter

A couple of weeks ago, I was going through my iTunes library and saw that I had way too many songs that I am never going to listen to. So out of annoyance I deleted a lot of tracks from the collection.

I am left with only 35 GB of music in my iTunes library. I have left a few albums in their entirety since they were made to be listened as albums (for e.g. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band,Funeral, Kid A etc).

Do you save entire albums or only the tracks that you like in your respective music library?

I save whole albums but edit out bad tracks as i listen. I keep two libraries- a backup of everything and a listening library that i edit to just the good stuff. My listening library keeps boiling down and getting better all the time.

I go for entire albums.

And this is a big upcoming project. Everything is in AAC and I'm going to re-rip all the Red Book to ALAC and put it on a server.

There are too many silver discs piling up around here. smily_headphones1.gif
