Been meaning to try some open cans.

Electronic has it's place with closed cans, that closed, club feel can only be replicated

with a good closed can, but for everything else whether it be jazz, classical, ambient,

rock, metal ~ open all the way!

I never use my HD650 since i bought my new D7000, sorry if i cant explain this technically, but for my ears the D7000 better than HD650 in every inspect ,

deep and clear base , more clear sound, better surround sound , very easy to drive and more

IMHO, the D7000 is under estimate

Nothing against the Denon but the tube EF5 is not what the HD650 needs, it's plenty dark enough

as it is ~ it needs solid, clean state power.

I was have Graham Slee Solo SRG II + DACMagic to drive my old HD650 , then i bought the EF5 with my new D7000 , and i still like the D7000 specially for gaming smily_headphones1.gif
