LD DAC 1 or DacMagic

System:  Computer > Foobar > SPDIF > DAC? > Little Dot MkIVse > HD650

I need another DAC to replace my Arcam rDAC (moved to another system) - I would have considered another rDAC but I'm on my third in ten months after problems with the first two so while I love Arcam gear and use it in my main system I'm not impressed with the reliability or quality of the rDAC which I believe is outsourced and not actially built by Arcam themselves (but I may be wrong)

Anyway - I'm considering the Little Dot DAC 1 which should be a good match for the LD amp or the CA DacMagic. Has anyone compared these two DACs

Any thoughts???

The LD DAC_I has excellent bass, sounds slightly warm and has a wide soundstage.

The treble range is not particularly impressive though and the soundstage lacks depth.

It's a very good DAC for the price, and the obvious choice if you plan to keep using you LD mkIVse.

The bass of the DAC_I is so good that it's comparable to the Atoll DAC 100, very nice.
