I am in Singapore temporarily, and soon after I arrived here, by Shure SE315 stopped working (no audio in right channel). Fortunately, the cables are replaceable but I'm having trouble finding the authorized replacement cables.

 

I did, however, find these easily available via eBay. They claim to be an upgrade over the standard cables that come with the earphones. 

 

It mentions some features of the cables, but it doesn't mean much to me so I was hoping someone more knowledgable about them could tell me if they are indeed an upgrade, or even a side-grade? If however, they are the cheap kind of cables that would ruin the overall sound, I would much rather have a friend in the US buy the original cable and ship it to me.
