But let's wait and see.

Maybe they'll sell. But I've given Grados to the kiddos already. smily_headphones1.gif

My sister and her husband locked the volume down low on the iPods. Safe to use and they really enjoy listening to their music.

really those lucky kids! who knows maybe even people looking for a "cheaper" pair of flat responce monitors will get these for themselves. even if they arent 4 years old

top notch isolation for $50 sure why not

I dont think either of my kids (4 and 6yrs old) would do "plugs" very well.

It's like I said in the Other Ety-Kid's thread, who wants to amp these up and drive these tiny drivers to death?

Electrical resistance is measured in ohms, which is used for the measure of headphone impedance.  Use the equation V = IR.  If R increases, then in order to output the same current, the voltage must increase the by same amount.  300 ohms is a huge number, most mobile headphones have under 32 ohms.  So it a way, it requires 10x the voltage to push these things.

i thought the more ohms the easier the device is to drive?

Wrong

Perchance 300 ohms is their way of assuring the kids don't listen too loud.
