I just got back into WA, what's the latest on this? Apologies as I've been out of the country for the summer holidays.

Hi Fan (My name),

We have hosted Head-Fi meets in the past, but as most West Australians have had access to us for 10 years the turnout has generally been quite small.

We already allow the demo of the majority of our range, so unless people are bringing a large range of products that we don't stock there's not going to be much new for people to test.

In regards to venue : we don't actually have a great deal of spare space, especially not during business hours, but if it were to be arranged outside business hours our showroom and demo products could technically be used :)

Remember: we're open 6 days a week and allow people to demo products in store for as long as they need, so every day is a headphone meet here :)

Regards,

Also, headphonics have some great stuff that you can audition, like the HD800, I'd recommend going down there. They have a good price for Shures. Convinced a friend of mine to save up for the SRH750DJ last time I was there.

I'm in the process of moving out and getting a new job so I'm busy as hell. I guess we just have to wait and see how many head-fier's from Perth notice this thread and put their names down for it. Or we could go about contacting members who've attended past Perth meets to see if they're interested...?

I just signed the lease for my new place! Just need to get that new job and I'll be set.

It's a little two bedroom in Morley. Based on how many people want to come, I think we could accomodate and host the meet, if everyone's okay with that. I'm not expecting more than 10 people to show, based on the interest expressed to date. We can use the bedroom, the study, the lounge room and the dining room to fit everyone's stuff in, so I'm pretty sure we'll have enough space.

We'll just have to work out a date and time most suitable for anyone interested. I'm happy to discuss this closer to May as I still don't know what I'm going to have work-wise during that time.

Let us know what you think by replying in this thread or to this email address: perthmeet2012@hotmail.com

If anyone wants to help organize it, let me know and I'll PM the password for the email account.

Hi guys,

I'm heading back to Perth some time in mid-July for a holiday to catch up with my folks. I'm probably able to bring back some goodies for Perth head-fiers to test on. Anyone reckon they're up for a meet? I know probably not everyone can but maybe try to hit the 80/20 rule. I can bring back my VentureCraft Go-DAP 4.0 (basically the original V-Moda VAmp), FitEar TO GO! 334 IEMs, ALO Audio Rx Mk3 (although I think some of you Perth head-fiers may have that already), iBasso DX100 (again, I think some of you there may have this too), and possibly my Fostex TH900 if I can find a safe way to transport it.

I haven't booked my flights back but I think I'll be there roughly sometime between 10th -> 20th July. Maybe we can meet up at some local Dome Cafe or something if we don't have a big crowd.

Cheers.

Excellent. When I get my available dates I'm happy to share here and see when members can meet up. I do hope to share out components that members may wish to try, etc.

Hey AnakChan.. Id love to catch up with you and others over a coffee and chat about headphones/Headfi/Tokyo and the cheap cost of headphones in Japan. I had a micro-meet the other day with Kremer930 and it was great to catch up and talk Headfi with a like minded person.

Im a coffee snob so might need to find a quiet coffee shop somewhere. Im sure Kremer930 will be up for meeting too however It might just be portable mini-meet.

Man Id love you to bring your 009s biggrin.gif

Me and my girlfriend both plan to move to Japan at some later stage so there's also that to chat about too :)
