Hi folks, the title says it all, how do you supply your tube amp with energy?
Do you plug it directly into the eletrical plug(wall plug), or do you plug it in a power strip, or other eletrical adapter, etc.?

Many higher end tube amps have dedicated power sources (but would still need a wall connection). There are also generic external power supplies that some swear by... (e.g. Pyramid - http://www.amazon.com/Pyramid-PS3KX-3-Amp-12-Volt-Supply/dp/B0002JTD2K/ref=pd_bxgy_e_text_b )
I have my humble EF2A powered through the provided wall wart adapter, going to an efi filtered powerstrip. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/491574-REG/Sound_Craft_Systems_PS8_PS8_Power_Strip_and.html
Hello! I think my post is most relevant to this thread...
Here is my humble audio setup. I'm almost happy w/ it -- I'd really like more weight, effortless power (head room?), expansiveness and bass slam. The Chelmer Valve CV4003 noticeably improved all these areas. I really like the sound signature: warm, spacious and airy (especially compared to my Grado 125i). My amp (Bravo Audio Ocean) uses a 24V wall wart power supply. So here's my question...
The Pyramid PS3KX power supply says "12V" and my tube amp says "24V", are they compatible? If not, is there any way to get a better power feed to my tube amp? Any help is appreciated and thank you so much for your time.
