Head-Fi.org Background Image when not Logged In

Has anyone else noticed the background image of Head-Fi when not logged in? I just noticed it when I was about to log in a few minutes ago and I thought I'd mention it since I haven't seen a background image like this on Head-Fi before.

If you didn't notice, here it is:

If there are going to be huge adverts, can they at least pertain vaguely to the contents of the site?

I also noticed it, i thought it was a new background image for the site. tongue.gif

I disagree with the decision to use these full page images to support the site.

If anything, keep advertising and content completely separate. We don't want any biases.

soon, you'll have to watch video ads like on youtube before posting... should be great

^ markkr, nice avatar.  Having an 18 month old, I'm very familiar with Phenias and Ferb.

You know what I love? My brand new Range Rover Evoque, starting at only $XX,XXX.

I love my 009 + BHSE, also at $XX,XXX but the seats don't fold down.

To be fair opera only loaded 52 out of 53 elements.  Element 53 was Range Rover madness.

Yeah I'm not too sure. It appears on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari on Mac. I haven't used Opera in a year or so...

EDIT: I just noticed the Land Rover advertisement on the right side of Head-Fi. Maybe that's why the background is an advertisement of a Land Rover. I usually use Firefox with Adblock Plus enabled, so I rarely see ads on webpages.

I use Opera, and with adblock at that. It does show up.
