For the past year or so I'd pop on here occasionally for a little recreational whining and complaing about my Sigmas.

They just sounded dead - no top end, recessed mids, ugh.

I recently made up some interconnects out of four lengths of twisted, 24 gauge silver wire (teflon coated, 99.99% pure silver) and the Stax magic is back.

No more dead top end or flat midrange - just perfect.

That's all they needed.
