I can't remember who fishcer's oem is but lindy likely uses the same 1, lindy uses 42mm drivers with Neodymium Magnets and Copper Clad Aluminium Wire (CCAW) voice coils I don't know what the fishcher's use, it looks like they use different drivers or the companies have tuned them differently. I brought the lindy's and should receive them tomorrow il let you know if they any good or not.

I received my lindy headphones today, very quick shipping from lindy.
There an outstanding set of headphones for the money, the frequency graph is pretty spot on but they need a few hours of burn in to bring out the bass, there sound very neutral, there soundstageand imaging is excellent for a closed headphone very close to open headphones the best i've ever heard from a closed set of headphones. The bass is only present when theres bass in the music no bloat or boom is very clean, detailed ,powerful and punchy, the mids are very good aswell neutral clean and clear, the highs are accurate they don't sound recessed or boosted, there not fatiguing or harsh, but maybe a little bit stale at times.
Whathifi described the treble as brittle I would disagree with that also the upper midrange is fine nothing brittle about it, but the treble can be a bit stale with things like cymbals, snare drums sound complety fine I don't have any better headphones to compare them to but compared to my speakers (behringer b2031p) it's a little bit stale the behringers give a bit more of a musical presentation of the treble but they probley have a huge advantage being speakers.
I don't think you can do any better for under £100, they would probley rival headphones well into the £200 range.
I have no idea how they compare to fischer's though, but if you go with the lindys you won't be dissappointed

I've written a review of the Lindy here if anyone's interested. I've not been able to compare them with the FA-003 but I agree with the above: taken on their own merits, they do well.

I found the treble to be very smooth. I would have thought that precluded a brittle sound.

I did a review here http://www.head-fi.org/t/581397/review-lindy-premium-hi-fi-headphones .
brittle probley means different things to different people, a bit stale is how I would describe the treble of the lindys, I have mine paid with the digizoid v1 and the stale treble has gone loads of other improvements aswell the digizoid really works well with these headphones.
