SOLD my X-Can V3. Comes with Russian NOS rocket logo 6H23P tubes purchased from Rock Grotto (X-Can guru and former Head-Fier Pink Floyd). Also included are a pair of Russian NOS Vokhshod plant 6H23P-EB tubes I got from eBay as well as the stock tubes. It is the 220v version with a UK plug and Australian adapter. The Amp is in great condition.
The X-Can is not very well known on Head-Fi these days but used to be a very well respected amp. It adds a nice warmth to my Sony SA5000s but has also been a favourite with Senn HD650s. If you have some soldering skills you can get an mod-kit and power supply from Rock Grotto that is reputed to bring the X-Can up to the level of the lower-end Woo Audio amps. With a bit of searching you will find plenty of old threads on this amp.
Looking for $300AUD shipped in Australia (these retailed for $600 a few years ago). $280 if you're Sydney-based an we can arrange pick up.
Also selling my Sony SA5000s which pair really well with the X-Can. I can offer a discount if you buy both.
