Apologies. I try to check everytime I add a brand, but I must've missed it that time.

there seem to be quite a few prominent & obvioius omissions, for example sennheiser hd6xx (& others), akg k701 (& others), lots of grados, beyer T1s (& others), jh audio, westone, etc etc etc.

sorry if this has been discussed & explained already - i haven't read the entire thread as of yet.

The idea behind the list is that only the single most expensive, currently available product in a company's lineup is listed. Thus as AKG's K3003 is listed, the K701 will not be. Same with any other Grado aside from the PS1000. Or any other Sennheiser aside from the HD800.

The T1 is listed there however, along with the JH16pro.

thanks for the clarification, Romy!

Caught something - I'm pretty sure the Shure SRH-1840, at least by SRP, is the most expensive headphone that Shure makes, at $699. The SE-530 is currently listed though, at less than $699. KH-K1000 is also twice. I also don't think Beats Audio produces the Detox edition, so I think the Beats Pro (at $399.95) are the top of their mark.

I'll fix it in the next update.

Reasons for stagnation: studies have started up again, and my computer has decided not to play nice for the second time and I lost the spreadsheet.

Well, I guess it's true. My workload it just killing me too much this year, so I'll have to let go of this project for awhile. Hopefully it gets started again later on down the line.

I saw a Gavio Metallion X, never heard of it so naturally I came here and found this list. You got the Sgull but not the Metallion X.

I stand to be corrected, but it appears you forgot Bose or Skullcandy (non-audiophile brands)?

Bose is on the list, at $350, and Skullcandy's there at $249.99
