E-MU 0404 USB / ESI DuaFire in WIndows 8 ... both OK

Hi!

Just installed the Developers Preview version of Windows 8 (64-bit) to try out if couple of my external audio interfaces would work in it.
ESI DuaFire and E-MU 0404 USB works perfectly so far. ASIO works as well for both.

What drivers did you use with the emu?.

hmmm I have installed windows 8 ultimate on my computer but my EMU USB 0404 drivers wont work. Downloaded and installed the current beta drivers för windows 7 x64, but after restarting computer, it says the drivers was not installed properly.

Hejsan.

 

IIRC, both interfaces started to work after reboot in my case.

 

You can also try manual installation if rebootting didn't help (remember log as administrator when install drivers).

That's good news to hear.  I've got a heavily modded 0404 USB that I am planning to keep.  Creative drivers hasn't been great for the EMU stuff for a long while...
