This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

So far no matter the album I hear all the background noise and drives me crazy. I hear chairs squeek, pages being turned, movement of instruments, and anything else that is going on. I love classical but I am having a really hard time listening to it on my portable setup. Any suggestions?

So you are hearing too much detail ? How loud is the noises ? If its not too loud you can turn the volume down a little so the noises became inaudible.
Avoid recordings by conductors Colin Davis and Sir John Barbirolli, both of who like to hum along with the music, and you hear it quite clearly. I've grown quite a hobby of listening for cars, motorcycles, airplanes, etc passing by recording venues. One particularly fun recording you can hear someone enter a door on one side of the hall, walk across the hall, then leave. Here's the thing: in the LP era, these extraneous noises were ignored, since the noise of the LP surface and the lower overall dynamic range would mean these sounds would never be heard. When transfered to CD, everything, warts and all were audible. Still, I know what you mean. Page turns I can tolerate, but its the audience coughing in live recordings that drives me nuts.
