Recommendations for a full-sized portable. Under $120.

Hey guys,

 

I've been out of the scene for about 4 years.

List anything and everything that fits this recommendation.

I just want to see where to get a decent set.

 

Foremost importance is probably construction.

No crap recommendations like HD201 and stuff, please.

Heya,

 

SRH840 if you can manage it.

SRH440 if you cannot.

DT770 if you can manage it.

Ultrasone DJ1 if you can manage it.


Of course, this is blind recommendation since you didn't list at all what kind of sound you want or what you listen to.

Thanks for the speedy reply!

 

I didn't put any listening preferences, because I listen to almost anything.

Also, I'm not going to be using an amp so I'm hoping any or all of these will be sufficient out of a regular source.
