Based on the price and size/shape of this, I would go with the FiiO E6. Having said that, I'm basing that opinion solely on specs and observations. I haven't used the FiiO, nor have I used the Rosewill. The vacuum tube shape of the Rosewill is interesting but it seems like it would make it a tough sell to the portable fanatics out there. Also, based on the reviews, it sounds like most of the "sound enhancement" comes from emphasizing the low end. The FiiO E6 also features a toggle for different bass boosts which seem like they would be superior.

 

I would like to try it out but it would be hard to pick that over the smaller, slightly cheaper FiiO that likely sounds and performs better. If you end up getting one, be sure to let us know how it turns out! Even for $30, it isn't that big of an investment so maybe it will manage to impress. It would be great if it were one of those budget "bang-for-the-buck" little amps!
