I've been looking for something that won't bottleneck my system down the line (planning on a pretty sizable amp investment next year). 

 

I need something with a decent amp in it to power my LCD 2 while I build up funds for my amp upgrade but the main focus is the DAC and that it's 'future proof' so to speak. 

 

Budget is roughly 1200 USD. Go wild, but try not to stretch the budget too much. 

 

Necessary features:

 

Balanced options

USB input (at least 24/192)

Headamp

 

Considerations so far:

DA-11

Antelope Zodiac

 

I haven't looked at this scene in quite some time so I'm a bit out of the loop. Thanks.

Sorry, why isn't it panning out? You don't like how to amp/dac sounds?

It arrived DOA, actually. 

 

I'm not necessarily giving up on getting another, but I still want to explore other options for the future. I will remove the comment about it as I'm not one to start controversy prematurely.
