Amp for Sennheiser HD650 on PC

Currently I have this setup connected to my PC: HD650 > Fiio e9i > Titanium HD.  I was using my e9i as a dock to connect my iPhone but the connector broke and I decided to maybe look into a better amp for desktop use.

I returned the Burson HA-160 this week because I was having issues with my headphones picking up feedback from my computer when connected to it.  I also felt it was a little to big for my small desk space.  The amps I had in mine were the Nuforce HDP and maybe even go higher in price and grab a Headroom Desktop Amp.  I don't really have a budget, I'm just looking for something that will be able to drive the HD650s and not have the same problems with feedback that I had using the Burson HA-160.

Anyone have any good experiences with any desktop amps with the HD650 for use with a computer?

Thanks

It looks like you got a defective unit, i used it for a week with my gaming rig with no issues.

Or maybe something wrong in your rig?

You want a solid state amp, or tubes?

I'm looking for a soild state amp. I did test the Burson on my brothers pc with my 650s also and it did have the same problem.  I just figured the amp was not built with pc use in mind, it did work great with no feedback when I hooked it up to my mp3 player.

What are you using now as a DAC? I don't know anything about the Titanium HD, but I agree with @jackwess - I think you've probably got a faulty unit.

I currently use a Burson HA160 with HD650's and an HRT II+ USB DAC, and the combination sounds great - no complaints at all.

Hope that helps

Thanks for the help, I firgured maybe using a DAC over my Titanium HD sound card would help.  The sound card is fairly new and I spent a good amount of money on it, so I coulnd't justify buying a seperate DAC at the time.  In the future I will look into a DAC if I run into these problems.  I'm also looking into the HA-160DS which has a smaller profile a DAC and would fit nice on my desk.
