Any suggestions for an in-ear that match the suggestions above?  Something that sounds like the ATH-M50, but an in-ear with good isolation.

ATH M50 = Audio Technica ATH-M50

There are two versions, M50 and M50S

The M50 is coiled line and M50S is straight line.

It is a popular and really good headphones for the price it is at, which I believe is $150-160, its been awhile since i checked prices.

I was first going to get M50 but it also came to my mind I will be going out a lot too so I decided to go with an IEM. I am also in the progress of looking for an IEM that is almost like the M50, if you saw my past threads :)

As for the OP, I hope you find one too and maybe I also /stalk/ this thread too since I am looking for the exact thing! :)

While I haven't personally heard the M50, as per the title, I'd recommend the following:

SM3, W3, UM3X, SE535, pretty much any of the Monster line-up, and the Atrio MG5 (MG7). Now, with that said, what one listener perceives as the 'best bass' is of course entirely subjective, but in my honest opinion, each of the aforementioned offer powerful lows, and all the while great isolation and all around sound. I recommend paying a visit to the links in my signature, and reading up on whichever one(s) pique your interest, and go from there my friend. All the best! smily_headphones1.gif

I suggest the TFTA 1XB's - they definitely won't disappoint you in terms of bass...that's for sure lol

(I know all I have been doing lately is recommending the TFTA's, but honestly I can't suggest it more to people....they are lovely)

What ever you go for, don't get a BA driver phone = terrible bass - even at the se535 price range...they are shockingly bad - just my 2 cents to 50 cent.

Never heard better bass from an earphone than the bass of the tfta 3v2b etra bass version , isolation is average as these are vented with a small hole in the back of the driver housings ,but they offer fantastic clarity across the entire sound spectrum and the bass is the real deal, a real bone shaker basshead.gif

I can testify for the Monster MDT. I can't praise them enough - If you can get a good deal on them you won't regret it. They have everything; great bass, lush, engaging mids and sweet highs without a hint of harshness. One of the most musical in ears out there.
