Rockbox'd Fuze+new 32gb micro-SDHC issues?

So, I just bought a 32gb card for my Fuze from amazon.

The player won't really read it, it won't show up.

Why is this?  What should I do?

Some players don't like class10 cards. Class 4 and 6 will be better choice.

It's a class 4 card.

So, another note...when I unplug it from the computer, it's there...but when I turn it off and back on, it won't read the memory card.  This happens even when removing and re-inserting the card.

Get yesterday a mSDHC 32GB Samsung Class 10 and runs well on my Fuze. Try to format it with SDFormatter.

Just tried it...not having any luck :( Maybe I'll just sell it and go for a 16gb...?

No No, wait, try something atleast. What version of RockBox do u have, and what is the Make of the 32gb microSD? are u sure the microSD isnt a fake one? The reason why i ask for the Version of RockBox is that, they have been patching things, compiling new drivers for microSD cards specially for amsV2. So if ur RB version is pretty old, u might want to upgrade that first. Regards

Just change the brand of the memory. As I say in my last post the Samsung 32GB runs well on my Fuze and it's class 10 (also Kingston C4 or Adata).. or try the things psgarcha92 says.

Ok, awesome! installing rockbox 3.9 did the job.  Thanks!

@deyo,

i specifically went for a Sandisk microSDHC coz i had read on a forum that any other brand affects battery life of the Fuze a bit. At the same time, a Sandisk doen't affect the battery life at all.

I read it very long ago, so i can't quote it, but i do remember reading it.

Regards
