Advice Needed! [BA CR8s + YST-SW60]

hello head-fi! new to these forums, and pretty new to hi-fi equipment.

I picked up a pair of Boston Acoustics CR8 speakers, and a Yamaha YST-SW60 powered subwoofer

I would like to get these running in a setup primarily used for music, movies, and games (in order of use)

My computer will be the source for the audio most of the time, sometimes may switch to xbox or something. I plan on getting off my onboard soundcard after i get these speakers going nicely (one paycheck at a time :P)

anyways, heres the manuals for the speakers:
Boston CR8 Manual: http://www.mediafire.com/?s9oznc2vkc7v5pc
YST-SW60 Manual: http://www2.yamaha.co.jp/manual/pdf/...b/YST-SW60.pdf

Now, im not needing to go all that loud with these, so i was looking at the DTA-100a for the CR8s, but i don't know if that will work for using the subwoofer as well.
any advice is greatly appreciated!  i would like to do this cheaply if i can, buying used etc is perfectly cool

thanks for your time

um, i guess another bump?

i just talked to my brother in law about a reciever that he was going to give me once upon a time, he thinks he still has it, its a random sony reciever he bought a few years ago for a bunch of money at a store.. im hoping it will be decent

i am going to visit him on the 2nd, we'll see how it goes

if not, would that Dayton DTA-100A be good if i used the speaker inputs on the sub and its own crossover?
