I have a pair of DT880/250s and unfortunately it appears I damaged the right driver (long story). Instead of fixing them (at least for now) I'm thinking of simply purchasing a new pair in the 600 Ohm version. However, I am not sure my Millet hybrid (w/ TREAD p.supply, diamond buffers, love it) is up to the task. Will it work or should I be looking at another amp as well? Was looking at (building) the bottlehead crack w/speedball.
