Hey everyone!

So, I'm a bit of a newbie to hi-fi audio, and I'm looking to get into the hobby. However, all the info on this site is quite daunting, so I was hoping some of you might have a good suggestion for a desktop headphone amp/DAC combo. I have a pair of AKG K99s currently, but I am considering grabbing a pair of Grado sr80is soon.

As far as my musical tastes, I like alternative, classic rock, folk, and some Motown and jazz. Mostly stuff like the Avett Brothers, the Black Keys, the Raconteurs, Ray Charles, Rush, Zeppelin, Fleet Foxes, Thelonius Monk, etc. I could go on all day, really.

I'm essentially looking to upgrade my computer audio, and it would be nice to have an amp with an RCA input so I can hook it up to my phono stage, and some sort of output that I can then hook into my stereo (XLR or 1/4" would be best). From my research, I'm mostly torn between the Maverick Audio D1 and the Fiio E9/E7 combo (although I may just wait until the E15 comes out...). I'm also open to new suggestions, but I'd like to keep it below $200US if possible. Thanks for any tips...and sorry this turned out to be a novel!
