I want to thank everyone for this great forum. I've done a lot of research using the great posts all of you have posted.

 

Being that I am a bass-head and love rock/metal/hiphop that is pretty important to me.

 

I just purchased the Denon D2000 headphones as well at the Little MK III tube amp. I have never owned anything this high end and am very excited to get these pieces shipped. I'll be sure to do a proper burn in.

 

Thanks again everyone. 

 

For what its worth, the nicest headphones I've owned are a set of the Acoustic Research ARW300.

Very nice, the D2000s are definitely a bass-heads delight.

 

And kudos to actually browsing the forum and doing the research yourself, the majority just ask which phone to buy.
