I haven't come up with an ideal solution other than putting them back into their box/carrying case.

Akro Mills case can be found at Hobby Lobby. Or here is maybe the same one on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Akro-Mils-5905-Plastic-Storage-Hardware/dp/B000BQPZDK/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1318874886&sr=8-8

bumping this to ask a new question: What do people use to store their ever-increasing collection of tips? with my increasing collection of DIY tips, soundmagic and sony tips, I'd really like somewhere to keep 'em.

I'd like something with a little more class than a tictac/altoid container. If possible, I'm trying to find something that will fit in a school backpack, carrying my IEMs/Ear buds, accessories/tools, and my MP3 player.

I have such a large collection of tips that they stay at home in a big zip loc bag. Within the bag they are roughly separated by IEM that they originated from or by size. Since I tend to find one good fit for an IEM and stick with that tip I don't find it necessary to have them well organized or separated.

I use the UE Metallic Crush Proof Case ( http://www.logitech.com/en-us/ue/ue-earphones/accessories ) for my IEMs and Clip. It's really nice and solid. I get the feeling you're looking for something larger, but it should be great for holding your IEMs and tips (if you keep the tips in little bags or something so they don't all fall everywhere when you open the case) at the very least, maybe even a few accessories. I guess if you change tips often, it's convenient to have them with you in a nice container, but I'm like dziendobry; one set of tips for my IEMs, the rest stored away without much care.

With my ever growing IEM situation I may get one of these.

I use them for board games but I think they'd be great for iems. Great quality!
