Been a long time since I been on Head Fi. I 'killed' my previous account to curb my spending :p
I basically destroyed my S:FLO2 by dropping it a few hundred times. It still works great for audio playback, but its USB connectivity is giving out.
I'll be pairing it with the ATH ES10.
What I need:
-8+ gb of flash storage
-8+ hours of battery life doing only music
-equal or greater overall SQ compared to S:FLO2
-very durable
What I want:
Affordable, whatever it means to the maniacs on this website, me included.
Lightweight, under 150 grams would be nice.
Will NOT be used with headphone amps, I hate those things.
Nice apps, games, or something to do.
Wifi or something like it
I'm not actually too averse to getting an iPod of some sort, the latest gen iPods I A/Bed (under less than ideal circumstances) provided differences that could be attributed to differences in character of the DAPs. Though what do I know, I've never actually even bought an Apple product my whole life.
