I acquired this old stereo receiver a couple months ago, and have been using it for my turntable and also as an amp for my HD 595s. And while it's been fine up to now, I would know a bit more about it, if at all possible.
I know it was made by Midland in the 1960s, and they apparently make mostly CB radio stuff nowadays. It does work, though a few of the lights no longer work... But really my main annoyance with it is the persistent ANNOYING HUM that comes through. It is solid state (not tube) as indicated right on the front, so maybe there would be a way to fix that?
Anyways, I'm really just looking for any general knowledge about it, anything at all would help.
