just interested to know if using DVD player as a source to a headphone amp for playing music cd's is a good idea. how is the dac quality of the rather cheap dvd players? and also,i heard that for dvd movies usually the recommended sample rate is 48 and not the standart redbook 41, and i want to know if dvd players will do upsampling (or oversampling) to 48, this is something i don't want. i want a bit perfect output.
