My 24V hybrid headphone amplier

Hello all, I'm new to head-fi. It's a pity that I found this great site too late.

I'm listen with an interesting hybride tube+mosfet amplifier. It's powered by single 24V power supply, the sound is fairly good.

The tube is 6N11 (6DJ8, ECC88), MOSFET is IRF630. It works in class A, a LM317 is configurated as current limit. Really like this small cheap gadget. Does any body else has has experience with such low voltage tube amplifier? I'm interested in making more of it because I'm really tired of wiring transformers.

This is a fairly common tube amp design and is built by a number of Chinese companies and marked under such names as Muse, Indeed, Bravo, etc.

Despite the very low price, they do have decent performance and are capable of driving most dynamic phones.  Performance is improved with the use of an upgraded power supply.
