Selling UE5cs???

I have owned a pair of Ultimate Ears UE5Cs for a few years and have really enjoyed them, however, recently have found I am not using them as much as before.  I believe I read somewhere on this forum that it is possible to sell the IEMs to a buyer and then they can have them remodeled to fit their ears. Is this true? If so, how much would a pair of UE5cs go for nowadays?
