Yes... Hype is sure to come along... I only hope Audez'e will offer to get these in some way cheaper than what they're charging. (Not for me, but for those who will adopt). 2k is just too ridiculous, and too much.

I still think
Alexander Rosson is a demon. evil_smiley.gif

Thank you Jalo, I look forward to more impressions from members. listening to Cowboy junkies trinity sessions at the moment on my rev1's, I must admit I do not hear any grain on my set up.

sometimes grain is not apparent until you hear another setup with better clarity.

I have a discussion with Alex at the booth when he asked me about the sound stage.  Personally I think in terms of spatial dimension, the sound stage is about the same or may be slightly larger.  But the key is that it sounded so nice that it seems putting the music in its natural postiion.  Nothing seems out of place.  Frankly I was so drawn to the music and did not feel there is anything lack thereof.  But I should probably stated my listening preference is vocal.  So, I guess for those who listen to classical may wish the sound stage is larger.

I know I probably would get slammed for hyping by noting the above initial impression.  But after Jude TV episode on the 009, I thought about getting the 009, I also heard the HE90, I didn't hype about these two after hearing them.  I don't mind to be differed by those who have heard the LCD3, but can only laugh away at the comments of those that have not heard the LCD3.

By the way Skylab listened to the system right after me.  I believed his LCD3 was driven by the Liquid Fire, I saw sky was bobling his head.  But Sky is Sky, he may not share his initial impression until he has a full review completed, but me and Jude both felt that the LCD3 sounded decent with our SR71b.

By the way, Ken @ ALO also showcased the MKIII which is a balance amp.  It sounded very nice and is in the SR71b range.

I love how the Audeze's perform so well with good, powerful portable amps, I trust Jalo's impressions more than many who review here and like Skylab's they have never led me wrong in the past.

I love that the "3" 's perform well with the SR71B, it will mean they will perform well with my 15v stepdance!
