Taket H2+

Hi all...long time since I've been here, head-fi clawing me back again!!

 

So, my Taket H2 seemed to have developed a fault on the left channel, a long time ago. Think I might have overdriven it. So anyway whilst I'll get it fixed I noticed that there is a new H2...one with a + on the end. Think I might have seen some sort of head-fi tv review on it but wondering if there are any user opinions?

 

And also...if anyone is selling an H2 or H2+, I'm interested if the price is right! I saw that the H2+ is like 250 000 JPY ??? On the head-fi group buy we got ours for 150 000. So I also wonder if there could possibly be any interest in trying to muster a group buy and propose it to Mr Takei again? I'm ready to be taken back to audio nirvana again smily_headphones1.gif

First thing to check in a TakeT would be the caps inside the earpiece.  If the phones were abused in anyway then they would certainly fail.  It would also make sense to put something better in there...

As in a better grade cap, and not the driver.......?
