Apparently, this is old news, but this is the first of it... Apparently, the ATA interface will be changed to prevent storing copyright data on any device, including your hard drive and cd burner...


Its about time that someone stopped them, before things get way out of hand.

This is the next move after the record companies tried to piggyback the anti-terrorism legislation in October, right? The Stereophile article on the manifesto filed by NARM is pretty interesting. Finally, retailers speak out, although the statement is in many ways a compromise. Baby steps.
