LCD-X is a different beast - i prefer it on larger ensembles and when i want that extra bass kick; lcd-3 for when i want to feel

EEEK! that worries me if the LCD3 is going to sound more like an LCD-X.

I also love the LCD3 for that exact reason, its pure emotion!

If i wanted more detail or air or something I would not of got the LCD3

What a lot of the "big guys" are doing here. I'm not running after the heard, I got amazing headphones and I'm happy and content.

P.S: Vega arrived in Israel, Sunday/Monday I'll have it :D

Can you visually tell if the headphone (lcd2/3/xc/x) has Fazor technology applied ?

I am not a big fan of Audeze headphones due to comfort issue but I will give XC a second chance.

Thanks in advance,

I love the sound of my LCD3s also but my biggest concern is that they will break again, after the warranty is up. Headphones should last a long time, especially headphones that cost this much. I own a pair of Stax which I have had for 20 years and they still work perfectly. I own a pair of Audio-Technicas which I have had for 40 years and they still work but show some wear admittedly. My LCD3s broke after 6 months and I never moved them out of my bedroom. Unlike many of you, $2000 is a lot of money to me, and I wouldn't have spent it on LCD3s if I knew what I know today.

I have wondered why the first time I herd the lcd2&3 they did not leave the same impression when I herd the lcd3 the last time.
It was a significant difference to me that I seriously considering the lcd3 and now, knowing that it was actually a change in sound due to manufacturing/materials change,
I do not know which version I liked!

The best thing for Audeze to do, is to lay out all the changes and respective serial numbers for each change.
Not all people hear the same and so what might be negligible for some, may be monumental for others...

Yes.........I think the Fazor phones have settings option that varies from stun to maximum....
