We need your CK100Pro vs XBA-4 comparison!
You guys should see it on the first page. Long-time lurker and infrequent poster around here, so my apologies if I don't respond that quickly in that thread, but you guys can always post questions on my thread and I will try to answer each of your enquiries about the CK100PRO.

Hi Haonan, great review and sorry for not responding. I have been enjoying your great knowledge on all gadgets on hwz forums, including J-phone, cameras, laptops, head-fi, etc. I love all kinds of gadgets and I can share your enthusiasm as well. Thanks for sharing and hope to catch up one day.

Not that flat, a bit v-shaped.

I've been looking for a CK100PRO frequency response graph for some time now, so is it a more balanced or v-shaped sound? Where exactly is there an emphasis in the frequencies - if any?
The problem i see with that response is the fact that 300-2k get the least emphasis and this is where most of the music resides. The bass boost looks really adequate as there isn't too much bass, the boost is small. Treble is boosted, but looks to be a tiny bit much, may be a bit too forward at times.
I like fact that the impedance phase is the opposite of the frequency response, so boosting impedance to a certain level may yield a sweetspot of balance.
I've been preaching the AT CK10 sermon since 2008. I'm devout. Who knows, I may go for it. I thought I was done, I really did. My wife did, too. She was happy then.

CK100 Pro looks really ugly. Will wait until someone reviews it, but knowing me... I am a huge sucker for AT's iems so I will probably end up buying it. Thank god I didn't pull any trigger on headphones/iems yet since I had a hunch more new stuff would be released.
Might buy W3000 if I have a chance.
Nothing wrong with curves, nothing at all... hmmmm.

Thank you for the detailed explaination Inks. I understand better now.
