Received email reply from Shure today stating that there are NO PLANS to sell SE535-red in USA.  It is strictly an Asia product.

 

But I think this has been reported/assumed already.

 

Makes me think you might be out of luck with a warranty issue or have a heck of a time getting it settled.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll have to save up the pennies for the Baldur. It's not cheap that's for sure. Wonder how the other cables on eBay compare. Like the Crystal Love ones.
