OK here's the deal.  It's been forever since I've posted here, but recently i have been bit by the "new headphone bug".  My mainstay rig is my AT-M50s plugged into everything.  They are great but they feel lifeless sometimes.  Anyway I listened to my broken pair of D1000's the other day and i fell in love again.  The only part to break was the "C" shaped plastic that connects the ear cup to the headband on the right ear.  I am sure there is a way to fabricate a solution but i have no access to tools...

the other solution to this is to buy a pair of MS-1's which i loved...(sold them off to fund some AT-A700satsmile.gif which were then sold to buy the d1000s)

Recommendations, other ideas/suggestions??? dont let me down Head-Fi ;)
