Hrm......well both would be pretty ridiculous, but the one i always tripped out on were 6-7 figure cars. I mean, sure they must be fun to drive, and you can! For a few hundred you can rent one for a day like a Ferrari, but after that? You have to obey the speed limit and worry about crazy drivers hitting you so is it worth it? To get chicks or whatever maybe, but at that point i would buy an airplane! A custom chopper! Or how about a few houses in different cities and then fly there in my AIRPLANE? eh? beerchug.gif Your car is nice, and it's so fast people say "look out man this thing wants to fly!", mine actually does! You've got me burned on the 0-60 and probably on cup holders but whoooopeeee look at me take off into the air, see ya pal! biggrin.gif

I would get that watch from Thinkgeek and call it a day.

I never wore a watch to show off or garner attention. Ironically enough I have a Pink Floyd DSotM T-Shirt that gets more comments than almost anything else I've ever had. Whenever I wear it someone will mention it. All for $20. smily_headphones1.gif

^^ An *older* friend of mine gave me the Pink Floyd original concert shirt from the 1990 "The Wall" performance at the Berlin Wall, when they tore it down.

Who needs a Rolex or Porsche when you can wear a Pink Floyd T-shirt? biggrin.gif

I think you should get 40 000$

Something is only of value if it is of value to you. A $5,000 stamp holds no value to me but to a philatelist it does. I am into hifi and watches. Have been since I was young. If someone offered me at this point in my life a $40,000 watch or a 40,000 HiFi system I would take the watch as my life is transient and I would have nowhere to enjoy the HiFi. Actually thinking on it if my life were not transient I would still go for the watch as I no longer get any satisfaction from listening to speaker based systems, much prefer headphones!

In which case I would take the forty thousand, spend most on the Rolex Day Date I have always wanted and the rest on a set of custom UE's, a pair of LCD3's and custom balanced cabling for the headphones into an SR71B (Already have the perfect source in the CLAS/Classic!)
