Hi all, I've been looking for some good material to learn the basics about amp, pre-amps, DACs, etc as it pertains to personal music.
The reason I'm looking is I want to have two good setups. One for my bedroom and on for my computer. As a learning exercise I'd like to do get of these without buying anything prepackaged. For my bedroom I want to be able to go from a turntable, an ipod, am/fm, cd player, etc to a set of speakers. For the pc I just want to be able to go from the PC.
Anyone have a good place to start learning? I've been lurking here for a while but it's kind of overwhelming.
