ultimate ears question

hey guys. i have narrowed my purchase down to either the backbeat pros (superfi4) which i can get for around $40, or the ultimate ears 200, which i can get for about half the price. isolation is a major factor for me, and they both -26db (or so they say) so they are even on that term. but in terms of sound quality which is better? i know the superfi4 are much more expenisve phones, but they are also older, like a year or two.

anyone hopefully own both that can comment? thanks

I think these are superfi5 pro which are pretty highly regarded here and if you can get a good fit have good isolation.

thats close to $50, and if i was to spend that much i found pink shure se115 for $50. they are superfi3s, which are supposdly a step under the superfi4s, so idk why theyre more expensive?

basically i really want to know in terms of sound quality and isolation, ue200 vs superfi4

and i guess on the pricery end, shure se115 vs uhp336 which are superfi3, not superfi5 pros :(

im going to be drumming with these and i need great isolation.

my real question is how much worse do the ue200 sound compared to the superfi4, but thanks so much for that link, alv didnt know they exsisted lol

isolation the shures are gonna be the best by far,  I have the SE110 which don't sound that great but they have the best isolation of any of my IEMs. They are also very comfortable, and from what i have read the SE115 actually do sound good. Build quality is good too, and I have TF10 which are suppose to be higher end UE and the SE110 has better build quality.  I haven't heard those specific UE models your asking for so I cant help there.

i apperciate all your help, and i understand the shure will do the best at isolation. my only problems are that they are pink, big and $50.

anyone with knowledge of the ue200 and superfi4? how are they in comparison, espeically considering the ue200 are half the price and newer

thanks

the klipsch s2 is another possiblity for me at around the same price of the ue200. they are rated at a less of a db isolation though -16 vs the ue200 -26.

do the ue200 really isolate that much better?
